It’s happening, the Daewoo Leganza is becoming...attractive to me! Why do I want silly things?!! Hnng, there’s a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! listed at $3,995, and you KNOW they will sell for well under that.
Dat FONT!!
The 2004 Camry ripped this rear end off!!!
So much room for activities!
That interior could be from 2008, such a modern design for it’s time!
All of this looks great to me! Add to fact these had manuals and I wouldn’t mind shelling out $3,000 for a clean one right now. I swear I’m going to end up with a 10 car garage of the weirdest, cheapest, most unwanted vehicles any one could want. But you know what? They are going to be the cleanest stupidest cars you have ever seen, because it doesn’t matter what you own, it’s all about the condition, baby! (Unless you are going to tell people you own them...then there’s an issue).
Annnnd I’m down the rabbit hole...please send help!

Trust me, if you go for one, you’ll regret it.
My family had one as a loaner car back in either ‘04 or 05, and it was a total load of garbage. I wouldn’t give someone $500 for one, let alone four grand.

I think that’s what they sold for new :p
You can do so much better than that. I wouldn’t pay more than $1000 for one, and even then, it’d have to have really low miles. But if you really like Daewoo, check out the Leganza’s successor, the Suzuki Verona/Chevy Epica, with the I6.
To be fair, the Leganza is more reliable than any Lagonda!

Oh I know it’s awful, but I think it would be great to own an awful car to hand down to my kids one day!

You aren’t the only one but we might be the only two. I was fascinated with Daewoo when they started selling cars here. I especially liked the 5-door Nubira that was only sold in one model year. It might be the rarest car in the US. I test drove one and came close to buying it. Probably good that I didn’t, but I thought they were good-looking little hatchbacks.

Oh I’m joking around of course. Honestly I just want a shirt with that Leganza font from the second picture!

80k on a Daewoo is like a trillion miles on anything else!

Ironically, the Nubira that you think looks the best is the only one of the three US-bound Daewoos to not be designed by Giugiaro...
